Temperature on Planet Earth

We are not talking about climate, we are talking about epochs...

1. Long-term

500 millions of years before present: it took some time to remove the CO2 from the atmosphere

2. Short-term

400k of years before present: obvious correlation between CO2 and temperature

Years after industrial revolution: CO2 is released quickly into atmosphere again.

Holocene temperature variations: +/- 1 degC

3. Very short term

Assuming that CO2 correlates temperature (as seen last 400k years), and that CO2 will further increase, we may leave Holocene epoche quickly.
