How does it work?
- With your PC, generate the phrases your bot can
speak. Our software makes this task very easy. All you need to do is to
input some keywords and the corresponding phrases your bot should
speak.
After generating the bot's speech, you can try out your bot on your local computer already. - Publish the bot's files on your web server (e.g. with your FTP software) and add it to your website. Now your bot is running for each visitor of your website!
System Requirements
- To add speech to your bot, a PC with 256 MB or more, an installed sound device, Windows® XP or Windows® Vista with an installed voice is required. By default, Windows comes with at least one voice, additional high-quality voices can be purchased from different companies (AT&T, acapela, RealSpeak and others) at moderate costs.
- To make your bot live on the client's computer, Flash™ Player v8 or higher must be installed. On most computers (PC/Mac), this comes already installed with the operating system (Windows®/Mac OS X). Flash™ Player can be downloaded for free here.
- To publish your bot on a website, any web server (IIS, Apache etc.) that can host files is can be used.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can the bot be totally interactive?
The bot cannot be totally interactive because the sentences and phrases it can speak
are pre-constructed, copied to the server and then fix. There is no voice
generator component or something like that installed on the server so it
cannot speak other words or sentences. The bot is more designed to allow
you to implement an FAQ system with pre-generated phrases. A phrase is
triggered (played) when the customer enters certain keywords you can define.
Where can I
purchase the software?
This
software is currently under development, however you can already
download a BETA version at above download link. Use the beta version at
your own risk, we guarantee for nothing!
Are there any
other characters available?
Currently, there's only one character available. Additional characters
will be added as soon as there is a demand for it.
Where can I get
a good quality voice for my bot?
Windows XP already comes
with one (English) voice installed. Windows Vista comes with a high
quality (English) voice installed. If you need a good quality voice or
a voice for other languages than English (Chinese, Danish, Dutch,
French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish,
Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish), the following companies have
additional voices for your computer:
- Cepstral Voices
- AT&T Natural Voices™
- Acapela Voices
- Nuance RealSpeak™ Solo Voices TTS
