License Manager

We have developed a license and activation software to protect and manage any Windows or Macintosh application license. Including trialware, product activation, subscription and floating or static network licenses.

We have developed a client component that allows you to:

  1. Easily add license checking to your existing Windows or Mac application.
  2. Add different types of licenses, including trialware, subscription or network licenses.
  3. Adding an activaton page to your existing application, that connects to an activation server component.

We have developed a server component that allows you to:

  1. Present your customers a customized activation code request web page.
  2. Have customers enter the product serial number and customer address data. The server component is compatible with any serial number format.
  3. Automatically generate instant activation codes on your server online

The server registers the activations, stores customer data and contains an administration web interface to:
  1. Manage your products and assign them serial numbers
  2. Generate monthly activation reports for your products
  3. Generate activation charts for your products
  4. Export customer activation data (CSV)
  5. See on a world map where your customers come from (countries, US states or Canada provinces)
  6. Manage your licenses and activations

How the activation works



System Requirements (activation server):

  • Windows/Linux/Mac server with PHP4 or higher (PHP5 recommended)
  • Database compatible with: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres SQL, Sybase, INFORMIX, MiniSQL or ODBC

The server component has already been successfully tested with IIS/MS SQL as well as Apache/MySQL. We have successfully tested it with 1 million customer records.

System Requirements (client machines):
  • Windows NT/2000/Vista or higher
  • Mac computer with OS X 10.3 or higher
