Features

SD card battery logging: cell voltages, current, capacity, cell temperatures, GPS data
GPS module (optional): distance (km) counter, speedometer (km/h), date & time
GSM module (optional): send SMS message (with text 'info') to request charging state & GPS position (NOTE: requires a SIM card, e.g. Congstar "Wie ich will" including 100x SMS plan for 2 EUR per month)

Uploading firmware

Connect USB cable
Download CAN logger firmware:
- CAN_Logger_v1_0_7.hex (GSM reboot bugfix)
- CAN_Logger_v1_0_5.hex (supports GSM modules with different baud rates, more robust GSM network retry)
- CAN_Logger_v1_0_4.hex (more robust SMS, added GPS position in SMS, added CAN->SD/USB bridge)
- CAN_Logger_v1_0_3.hex (added GSM remote access for battery state, support for 8 Mhz CAN modules, serial bridge mode)
- CAN_Logger_v1_0_1.hex (new page: large GPS speed, added 'Ah/km' to Ah-page)
- CAN_Logger_v1_0_0.hex
Windows:
1. Download USB CH34x driver and install it
2. Download XLoader.zip (Windows)
Mac:
1. Download USB CH34x driver and install it. Important: During installation, click on 'open Mac security settings' and click on 'allow to load system software of developer...' to allow installing the driver
2. Download Arduino IDE for Mac OS X and install it
3. Download HexUploader.zip (Mac) and unzip it
Start XLoader/HexUploader
Choose .hex file, device 'Mega(ATMEGA2560)' and your COM port.
Press 'Upload'
